A Wendy’s worker was shot dead with a customer who opened up fire after being denied a quick food meal he’d attempted to buy with counterfeit bills, police stated.
Alejandro Garcia, 41, was recognized by relatives because the lone victim in Sunday’s as-yet unsolved drive-through shooting in South La.

A vigil for Garcia was scheduled for Tuesday in the Wendy’s in which the shooting happened.
“I would like justice,” another cousin, Corina Garcia Demeza, stated. “I want justice for your loved ones. I would like justice for everyone locally so these folks will not be available killing people just for simply doing their job.”
Garcia’s family, who’s pleading for that public’s assistance in identifying the California father’s killer, want law enforcement make an arrest within the situation.
“We would like law enforcement to obtain the killers,” Garcia Demeza stated. “We’re not gonna stop until we discover the killers and when I must go every single day towards the detective’s office and talk, I’ll talk every single day until they locate them.”
