A 1-time participant within the pageant show “Toddlers & Tiaras” on TLC has died by suicide, her parents stated.
Kailia Posey, 16, was confirmed accurate Monday by her mother on Facebook.
“I do not have words or any ideas,” Marcy Posey Gatterman authored. “An attractive little girl is finished.”
On Tuesday, her family confirmed, using a statement to TMZ, that Kailia was dead because of suicide.
“Although she was a proficient teen having a vibrant future in front of her, regrettably in a single impetuous moment, she made the rash decision to finish her earthly existence,” they authored.
Washington Condition Patrol Public Information Officer Trooper Jacob Kennett confirmed to People it had become investigating the dying of the 16-year-old juvenile as a result of questions regarding Kailia, whose identity they didn’t formally confirm.
“On May 2 at approximately 1:26 p.m., Washington Condition Patrol was known as to help Whatcom Sheriff’s department to assistance with a dying analysis involving a small at Birch Bay Condition Park,” he told the opening. The part is around the Washington coast close to the Canadian border, about 20 miles west of Kailia’s home in Lynden, Washington.
The Whatcom County Medical Examiner — which provides coverage for both Lynden and also the condition park — confirmed to Page Six that they’re investigating her dying.

A buddy told Page Six that they are aware the teenager have been battling with a few issues just before her dying.
“We understood she was battling having a couple of things, so we all did everything we’re able to to inspire her which help,” the friend told the opening.
But, she added, “We didn’t understand what happening.”
The friend told Page Six their understanding was that Kailia passed away on Sunday, May 1.
Kailia had just switched 16 in April and attended her promenade on Saturday night, based on CBS News.
Her parents are encouraging individuals to donate towards the recently created Kailia Posey Teen Crisis Intervention Fund in Whatcom County.
