After government bodies searched for the public’s assist in locating a suspect wanted for any teen’s murder, a Texas lady continues to be arrested.
Chelsea Ann-Marie Shipp, 24, was wanted for that shooting dying of the 16-year-old girl on Sunday in West Jefferson County — a place southwest of Beaumont, Texas — as formerly reported. Government bodies using the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office have finally identified the victim as Katelynn Nicole Stone of Vidor, Texas, that is about 30 miles northeast of where her body was discovered.
Stone’s identity had formerly been withheld pending the notification of her family.
On Wednesday, multiple law enforcement agencies announced Shipp have been taken and charged with Stone’s murder. Shipp was found at around 3:40 a.m. in Liberty Hill — 250 miles from where Stone’s body is discovered, just north of Austin — by officials in the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the freedom Hill Police Department, and also the Williamson County Sheriff’s office, the discharge mentioned.
She was booked in to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility, where her bond continues to be set at $a million.
Shipp is among a couple that police believe were involved with Stone’s murder.
On Monday, government bodies announced the arrest of Cody Arnold, 22, who had been apparently arrested in the home where government bodies found Stone’s body. He, too, was billed with murder and booked on $a million bond.

It remains unclear whether Shipp understood her alleged killers.
Arnold has one previous criminal charge stemming from 2017, as he caused nearly $2,800 in harm to a teacher’s vehicle by keying it as he was 17 years of age, as formerly reported. No less than four students stated they saw Arnold vandalize the Jeep Cherokee near a small area in the Hamshire-Fannett Senior High School in Hampshire, Texas — that is five miles where Stone’s body was discovered.
