‘Tell My Children I Really Like Them’: Man Leaves Message After Allegedly Being Stabbed By Girlfriend

A New York man created a haunting final message to his children after allegedly being stabbed within the chest by his girlfriend.

“Tell my children I really like them,” Charles Barber told stunned witnesses after collapsing to the ground inside a nearby apartment, based on WSOC-TV.

Jessie Owenby, 47, has become facing charges of first-degree murder in Barber’s dying after everybody she attacked Barber in the Forest Park Garden apartments in which the couple had resided on Monday.

Police taken care of immediately a study of the stabbing at 503 Valley Street in Apartment H on Monday but, once they showed up, discovered the victim had go to a neighboring apartment at 507 Valley Street to find assistance, they stated inside a pr release. Owenby, one couple stated, had given them a plant as a present yesterday the stabbing.

Neighbor Vickie Moten stated she was “just sad” to discover the killing.

“I hate it happened because that’s my pal. She’s a great girl,” Moten stated.

Police required Owenby into child custody after gathering witness statements and evidence in the scene.

She’s presently being held without bond in the Iredell City Jail. During her first court appearance on Tuesday, she requested for any court hired attorney.

Based on Law&ampCrime, Owenby’s prior rap sheet includes one legal drug arrest and many small misdemeanor arrests, but no violent crimes.
