Self-Described Incel Indicted On Charges He Planned A Sorority House Massacre

A guy who identifies having a group that despises women made an appearance in federal court in Cincinnati on Wednesday on charges associated with his intends to kill sorority people in an unknown college in Ohio, government bodies stated.

Tres Genco, 21, of Hillsboro, Ohio, is billed by having an attempted hated crime and having a piece of equipment gun within an indictment unsealed on Tuesday.

Federal prosecutors inside a statement released on Wednesday stated Genco identifies themself being an “incel” — involuntary celibate — and it has interacted by having an network of mostly men that advocate for violence against women simply because they believe they’re unjustly denied sexual or romantic attention.

The statement suggests a 2014 shooting committed with a self-identified incel named Elliot Rodger, who wiped out six people and hurt 14 others outdoors a sorority house in the College of California, Santa Barbara, before killing themself.

In 2018, another self-described incel, Alek Minassian, 25, also recognized Rodger before ramming his van right into a busy Toronto pavement and killing 10 people. Just hrs before that mass murder, Minassian posted on Facebook, “The Incel Rebellion has begun! We’ll overthrow all of the Chads and Stacys! All hail the final Gentleman Elliot Rodger!” 

Based on prosecutors, Genco frequently published with an incel website in 2019 and 2020. In a single publish, he authored he had used a squirt gun to spray “foids” hard with orange juice, something Rodger tried prior to the Santa Barbara killings.

“Foids” may be the shortened incel term for “feminoid.”

Genco conducted surveillance in an Ohio college in The month of january 2020 and authored a document that month entitled “Isolated” he referred to as “the writings from the deluded and homicidal,” prosecutors stated. He signed it, “Your hopeful friend and killer.”

Local police looked Genco’s home in March 2020 and located a gun by having an attached bump stock — which enables so that it is quickly fired — a pistol, loaded ammunition magazines, boxes of ammunition and the body armor.

Messages seeking comment were left on Wednesday with Genco’s recently hired public defender.
