A Los Angeles mother, apparently experiencing severe postpartum depression, stated inside a jailhouse interview a week ago that they drowned her three youthful children to save them from her husband, who she stated was involved in a young child sex trafficking ring.
Liliana Carrillo, 30, stated within the interview on Thursday with local station KGET that they wiped out her children — Joanna, 3, Terry, 2, and 6-month-old Sierra — on April 10 in her Reseda apartment. Their bodies put together on Saturday by their maternal grandmother, the Connected Press reported. Carrillo told KGET that she was protecting the kids using their father and her estranged boyfriend, Erik Denton, who she’d arrived at believe was a part of an enormous child sex trafficking ring.
Denton has denied any allegations of abuse. In the court papers filed in the last year seeking sole child custody, he has established that he feared Carrillo was getting a psychotic episode and can hurt their kids, the La Occasions reported.
