Ten years after Kristin Smart disappeared her alleged killer would be a suspect within the rape analysis of some other California lady.
Recently released Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office reports reveal that investigators eyed Paul Flores in 2012 when his DNA profile matched a sample collected from the Los Angeles lady who had been sexually assaulted in 2007, according to NBC News.
The lady told investigators that they blacked out in a bar in Redondo Beach and automobile up, naked and disoriented, inside a stranger’s bed. She visited a medical facility and it was given a forensic examination in which a DNA sample was acquired. Regardless of the match to Flores’ DNA, La County District Attorney’s Office determined there is inadequate evidence to demonstrate the allegations of rape beyond an acceptable doubt and declined to prosecute the case NBC News reports. But while police remained as investigating the incident, a bartenders divulged that a minumum of one other bar patron had told an identical story about being assaulted by Flores.
John Segale, an agent for that Smart family, stated the household is not commenting around the 2007 allegations.

While Smart’s remains haven’t been found, she was declared legally dead in 2002. Recently leaked documents demonstrate that investigators allegedly found evidence to point out that her body was hidden underneath the deck of Ruben Flores’ home and it was lately relocated.
