Investigators in Ohio say they feel they’ve already located your body of the missing mother of 4 as her husband continues to be taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
On Tuesday, John Eichner, 43, was arrested after an appearance was discovered at his friend’s home, jail records show. He was considered missing until his arrest. Amber Eichner, 34, a mom of 4 women, and her estranged husband hadn’t been seen in Genoa since April 14.
John Eichner had allegedly abandoned the couple’s four children, who his wife had child custody, in a relative’s home in Tennessee on April 23, local outlet WTOL11 reports. Amber’s phone last pinged in an Ohio cell tower around the same time frame.
Uncle later told the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office that John Eichner had requested him if he could bury his dead dog around the man’s property, based on WTOL. The friend increased concerned after listening to Amber Eichner in the news, WTVG reports. Because of that tip, investigators excavated the friend’s south Toledo property on Monday night and located human remains, the Toledo Blade reports.
Your body hasn’t yet been positively identified but investigators believe that it is those of Amber Eichner. The Lucas County Coroner’s office reported the reason for dying to become strangulation.
John is facing a murder charge, four misdemeanor charges of endangering children, and tampering with evidence charges, based on online jail records.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and the Ottawa County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office haven’t immediately came back Archiweekend.com’s demands for information.
John Eichner was charged of corruption of the minor in 1998, which resulted in a 15-month prison sentence. He was 19 as he was accused of victimizing a 14-year-old, based on WTOL. He seemed to be billed with domestic violence this year for allegedly tossing his wife down and punching her within the throat that situation was ultimately ignored.
“Together with her as being a victim of domestic violence, and she or he continues to be for any very lengthy time, we fought against very hard to assist support her to find a way, and also the only factor I possibly could have to say is she finally got the children from him,” the slain mother’s cousin, Amanda Kimbrell, told WNWO. “It wasn’t the way you wanted but she’s finally free.”
Kimbrell stated she was attempting to help her cousin look for a domestic violence shelter at about the time that they disappeared.
John Kimbrell has been held on the $1,070,000 bond. It isn’t obvious if he’s an attorney.
