Nj Man Allegedly Kills His Stepfather Due To An LGBTQ Guest

A Philadelphia man is charged with murdering his stepfather while he were built with a gay guest within their “house of God,” based on prosecutors.  

Christian A. Cruz, 23, is charged with killing 43-year-old Dennis McKenzie in their Gloucester County residence over the past weekend. He was billed with first-degree murder, as well as an additional control of second-degree having ammunition to have an illegal purpose, officials stated.

On March. 23, Woolwich Township Police were dispatched to some property on Cottonwood Road following a 911 emergency call. McKenzie was discovered deceased in the scene. He’d died from multiple gunshots to his mind and back. Medical examiners concluded homicide was the way of dying.

A nine millimeter Glock pistol was retrieved by investigators.

While a motive wasn’t immediately disclosed, however, prosecutors allege the murder was fueled by Smith’s bias when it comes to an LGTBQ house guest in the family’s home.

Smith’s public defender, Katherine Constantine Blinn, asked the forensic evidence within the situation, and if the murder charge against her client was warranted.

She was adament the shooting was accidental.

During police child custody, Cruz initially declined to talk with situation detectives. He later claimed the shooting was any sort of accident. No more information was launched legally enforcement.
