Motion Declared Fraud Charge Against John Laundrie To Become Dropped

The U.S. District Court of Wyoming is relocating to drop a fraud charge against John Laundrie, days following the FBI announced they’ll soon be closing the Gabby Petito situation.

Steven Bertolino, a lawyer for John Laundrie’s family, confirmed to Archiweekend.com via text on Thursday morning the fraud charge introduced against Laundrie in September, while police were performing a comprehensive look for him, has been dropped.

A motion for that charge was filed on Tuesday, citing Laundrie’s dying, based on court documents acquired by Fox News.

On Sept. 22, 72 hours after Petito’s remains put together, a federal grand jury indicted the Laundrie, 23, for “use of unauthorized access devices” following Petito’s dying. Charging documents alleged he used Petito’s bank card.

The proceed to drop the charge comes per week after the FBI announced that they’ll soon be closing the situation. Simultaneously, federal investigators announced that Laundrie required responsibility for that 22-year-old Petito’s murder inside a notebook found near their own body.

Petito disappeared at the end of August during a car trip with Laundrie. Her family reported her missing on Sept. 11 after not talking with her in roughly two days. They’d soon discover Laundrie came back to his parents’ home in North Port, Florida without Petito a complete ten days earlier.
