Mother Will get 21-Year Sentence For Six-Year-Old Son’s Dragging Dying After Attempting To Abandon Him

An Ohio mother continues to be sentenced to 21 years in jail for that dragging dying of her 6-year-old boy captured.

Brittany Gosney, 29, was presented with the sentence on Monday in Butler County Common Pleas Court, reports. The sentence is going to be soon be finalized through the Ohio Parole Board.

The mother pleaded guilty recently to 1 count of murder for that Feb dying of her boy James Hutchinson, 6. He was wiped out as Gosney attempted to hurry away inside a vehicle after abandoning him and the brothers and sisters, aged 7 and 9, inside a park. She also pleaded guilty to 2 counts of kid endangerment.

“Brittany slammed the gas attempting to leave the children and drug Hutchinson, possibly running him over,” the probable cause statement states. “Brittany switched the automobile around to evaluate Hutchinson and that he was dead.”

Hutchinson clung to his mother’s vehicle door handle as she attempted to depart. Investigators think that after she learned that she wiped out Hutchinson, she loaded his body into her vehicle and drove him to her boyfriend James Hamilton’s home. The next morning, the happy couple dumped the boy’s body within the Ohio River.

Hutchinson’s body still hasn’t been found.

The principal from the grade school that Hutchinson attended spoken concerning the boy’s smiling face in the court on Monday.

“That light was extinguished too early by their own mother,” Rosa Parks Elementary Principal Tracy Neeley stated. “He’s forget about tomorrows. … We feature a guilt that can’t be measured and several weeks later we still ask what could we’ve completed to predict this.”

Gosney’s attorney, David Washington, has maintained that his client attempted to inquire about agencies for help because she was not able to parent.

Prosecutors contended that Gosney didn’t achieve in any significant way.

Butler County Children’s Services has had child custody of Gosney’s two surviving children.

“We’ve two living children which have resided through trauma that not one other children must have to see,” Prosecutor Kelly Heile stated recently.

Hamilton, 42, has pleaded guilty to kidnapping, gross abuse of the corpse, and child endangerment. His sentencing is scheduled for March. 4.
