A mom testified against her accused killer boy inside a California court now, telling prosecutors that he’d indicated he’s guilty of the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend captured.
Victor Sosa, 25, is charged with killing 19-year-old Daisy Delao throughout a knife attack in Feb. Sosa pleaded not liable to first-degree murder charges. On Tuesday, an L.A. County judge ruled there’s probable reason for an effort.
On February. 23, Delao’s body was discovered within an alley by police behind a Compton apartment building near Lengthy Beach Boulevard. A bloody kitchen blade is discovered nearby. Delao’s reason for dying was listed as multiple sharp pressure injuries, based on La County Medical Examiner-Coroner records.
Sosa allegedly fled to Mexico following Delao’s murder. He was arrested on This summer 2 after several sleuths on TikTok and Instagram tracked him to Rosarito, Mexico where he was working within new identity at Papas & Beer nightclub.
Now, investigators made an appearance in the court to testify concerning the macabre crime scene.
“There is a large amount of bloodstream on her behalf face there would be a large laceration in her own neck underneath the face,” Detective Leo Sanchez told a legal court, based on KABC-TV. “Most likely 4 to 6 inches.”
Delao’s grandfather told investigators Sosa was seen searching with the family’s apartment window prior to the attack. However, Sosa’s attorney, Andrew Jeremiah Bane, asked the credibility from the man’s eyewitness testimony.
A 13-year-old boy also testified he saw Sosa in the scene from the murder.
Claudia Gutierrez, Sosa’s mother, also implicated her boy in Delao’s slaying while under questioning by prosecutors.
“What have you question,” Deputy Da Leslie Hinshaw requested Gutierrez within the courtroom.
“If he’d tried it. If he’d committed the crime,” Gutierrez stated she’d requested her boy. “He just bowed his mind lower.”
The California mother told prosecutors she’d advised Sosa to complete the best factor and switch themself in.
Delao’s family people attended a legal court hearing now and spoke towards the press among the proceedings.
“I really hope he remembers my daughter’s face each and every minute of his existence,” Susana Salas, Delao’s mother, told KABC-TV. “I really hope he rots in prison rather than hurts nobody.”
Salas established that she was relieved the situation will go to trial but stated the choice marked a bittersweet moment on her family.
“He required part of my soul and that i can’t ever have it fixed until I reunite together with her again,” Salas stated. “I smile and that i feel the motions of existence, however i also have that empty space within me, always. And That I can’t ever have it fixed, never.”
Sosa is scheduled to look in Compton Superior Court on Sept. 21, based on online jail records.
Bayne, Sosa’s public defender, wasn’t immediately readily available for comment when contacted by Archiweekend.com on Thursday.
