A mom in Georgia was billed together with her son’s murder following a postmortem examination unsuccessful to aid her claims the child was hurt with a truck, say police.
Oluwadamilola Imafiabor, 29, is charged with neglecting to seek proper medical assistance on her 1-year-old boy, based on a Jan. 2 pr release in the Gwinnett County Police Department. The boy, whose name is not released, was discovered dead by police once they taken care of immediately a phone call to 231 Seasons Parkway in Norcross on Xmas Day.
Imafiabor told government bodies her boy was hurt yesterday as he was “run over with a truck” while playing outdoors.
“Initially, she mentioned the kid made an appearance to become fine following the incident but died later throughout the night,” police mentioned. “An autopsy was performed around the child, and also the injuries seem to be sporadic using the story supplied by Imafiabor.”
J.R. Richter from the department’s public information office couldn’t talk about the child’s cause or types of dying when requested by Archiweekend.com,
It remains unclear whether police made connection with the alleged trucker, though Richter told Archiweekend.com, “the suspect [Imafiabor] described a dark-colored pickup.”
Imafiabor was billed with second-degree murder and 2nd-degree cruelty to children, based on the release. Police stated she is not billed with malice intent, based on The Atlanta Journal-Metabolic rate.
Government bodies wouldn’t condition if other suspects are now being searched for within this situation.
