A guy from Michigan was in prison for shooting a lady several occasions before filming themself kicking her to dying.
Andrew John-Lawrence Lafey, 23, was charged with murdering Gracyn Brickley, 18, on February. 16, 2021, behind a Walnut Grove Township home, based on Lansing NBC affiliate WILX. Lafey shot Brickley several occasions having a .22 rifle before using his cell phone to record themself kicking the youthful lady to dying, a horrifying attack that lasted nearly 11 minutes.
After Lafey hidden Brickley’s body underneath the snow, he returned within the Ionia County home. He demonstrated the recording to his buddies, who notified government bodies in the Nashville Village Police Department the very next day.
A phone call between Craig County dispatchers and deputies allotted to the crime scene was partly transcribed by Grand Rapids NBC affiliate WOOD-TV.

Based on WILX, Lafey’s father was among the individuals who reported the crime to government bodies.
On February. 18, 2021, Andrew Lafey was billed with murder and held on the $500,000 bond, the Craig County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Lafey waived his to an effort by jury and it was rather charged by Craig County Judge Michael Schipper included in a bench trial, based on WZZM 13.
A motive for that murder never was revealed.
On the top of first-degree murder, Lafey seemed to be charged on a single count of torture and 4 counts of gun-related charges.
Craig County Prosecutor Julie Nakfoor Pratt addressed Lafey’s violence.
“The conditions of Gracyn Brickley’s dying were terrible,” she stated, based on WILX. “The defendant videotaped themself stomping on and taunting Gracyn for near to 11 minutes. The torture observed in the recording came after Lafey shot Gracyn Brickley two times and inflicted multiple injuries to her face and breaking her jaw.”
When Brickley was murdered, Lafey already were built with a criminal background dating back 2018, based on WOOD-TV. Past charges incorporated misdemeanor assault, burglary, and witness violence. The Grand Rapids outlet also reported that Lafey was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for any 2019 home invasion but released in 2020.
While waiting for trial for Brickley’s murder in the Craig City Jail, Lafey was charged with assaulting an worker, based on the Hastings Banner.
