A Boise State Broncos man was arrested a week ago for allegedly assaulting his partner after she was able to ask for help by getting her children secretly pass an email for their bus driver, police stated.
Erik Alvarado, 40, was arrested Friday morning after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend the previous night, the Las Cruces Police Department stated inside a recent news release. He was billed with two third-degree legal counts of irritated battery against a family group member for suffocation and the other count of irritated battery for strangulation, additionally to misdemeanor charges of battery against a family group member and deprivation of property.
