Lori Vallow Daybell’s Remain In Psychological Facility Extended By Judge

Accused child killer Lori Vallow Daybell’s remain in an Idaho psychological facility is going to be extended pending more information, the court made the decision now.

District Court Judge Steven Boyce presided more than a status hearing 90 days since accused murderer Daybell was considered not qualified to stand trial in June, KTVB 7 reported. Boyce stated he received two letters from the physician in the Department of Health insurance and Welfare that offered little detail.

“Those letters possess some detail, however in the court’s estimation, wouldn’t rise to the stage to be a progress report…” stated Boyce. “I wouldn’t the request of this correspondence of to have an extension of commitment. So prior to the court’s comfortable to go in a real order of extension, I believe the parties all agree, we have to see a real progress report.”

Prosecutors and Daybell’s defense attorneys all agreed.

Boyce purchased that Daybell’s commitment in the mental health facility be temporarily extended until a minimum of Sept. 8, when another status hearing continues to be scheduled.
