‘Justice For Mikayla’: Family Begs For Solutions Days After 16-Year-Old’s Body Present In Forest

The household of the Black Massachusetts teen are demanding solutions after her body is discovered with a jogger outdoors a little Massachusetts city recently.

Mikayla Miller, 16, was discovered dead inside a wooded area in Hopkinton April 16. Her types of dying hasn’t been released.

The youthful teen’s sudden dying, however, has sparked growing alarm and outrage across Massachusetts.

“My heart breaks for Mikayla Miller’s family,” Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey stated inside a statement published to Twitter. “Young, LGBTQ women of color deserve all of our love, support, and protection. There is little bring her back, however i hope an intensive analysis in to the conditions of her dying may bring some peace to her family and community.”

Hopkinton is situated about 35 miles southwest of Boston. It’s a predominantly white-colored community, based on census data.
