A Texas teacher is charged with transporting on the sexual relationship having a underage former student for pretty much 3 years at junior high school near Houston, police stated.
Marka Bodine, 31, continues to be billed with continuous sex abuse of the child under age 14, court public records show. The alleged abuse happened while Bodine would be a teacher at Tomball Intermediate School, which suits fifth and sixth grade students.
The victim, now 16, reported Bodine towards the Tomball Police Department on April 12.

“[Bodine] is not employed with Tomball ISD,” Allison Suarez, a spokesperson for Tomball Independent School District, told Archiweekend.com inside a statement on Tuesday.
The college states it’s now cooperating with local police.
“Once notified from the allegation, the district immediately started an administrative analysis,” the statement added. “Any and all sorts of worker misconduct allegations are given serious attention and therefore are investigated completely and quickly. The security in our students in Tomball ISD is our most important and then any substantiated allegations of worker misconduct won’t be tolerated. The district is going to be supplying the right social-emotional support to students and staff.”
Parents’ whose children attend the college were disturbed, angered, and horrified.
“It’s terrifying, absolutely terrifying,” Vincent Coulter told KPRC. “It’s wretched. [It’s the] worst crime ever since the parents of whomever this really is involved with, installed their trust into that lady and today look where they’re at.”
“I got the e-mail today and honestly that sort of stuff outrages me,” another mother told the station.
Tomball is situated about 30 miles northwest of Houston.
Bodine was booked right into a Harris City jail on April 17, but has since published bond and it was released pending trial. The 31-year-old made an appearance in the court on Monday. She hasn’t yet joined a plea. The previous educator’s arraignment is scheduled for June 29, based on court public records.
