Former ‘Making The Band’ Star Charged With Using Social Networking Influence To Sex Traffic Women

An old reality star of MTV’s “Making the Band” continues to be arrested in Nevada for alleged sex trafficking after everybody he used his social networking influence to recruit women for sex work.

Kevin Barnes—who also passes the moniker “Choppa”—was booked in to the Clark County Detention Center in Vegas on Monday for just one count of sex trafficking a grownup, based on an announcement in the Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Detectives believe the 37-year-old used his “large social networking following” to “recruit women to become sex workers.”  

While police provided couple of other information regarding the arrest, TMZ reported that court papers indicate that Barnes was arrested after he allegedly messaged an undercover vice detective in Nevada on Instagram providing the officer sex work. The detective observed Barnes’ social networking profile appeared to reference pimping and frequently featured him living a deluxe lifestyle.
