FBI Joins Look For Missing 3-Year-Old Who Disappeared From Dallas Playground

The FBI has became a member of local government bodies in Texas because they look for a three-year-old girl that has now been missing just for over two days.

Lina Sardar Khil disappeared on 12 ,. 20 during the playground from the apartment complex in north Dallas, Texas, where her family — who immigrated towards the U.S. from Afghanistan in 2019 — lives.

The FBI travelled into Houston on Monday and, by Tuesday, had deployed a dive team to consider Khil, the Dallas Police announced on Tuesday.

“I really wish i could become more uplifting,”  San Antonio Police Chief William McManus stated throughout a Tuesday press conference held in the scene from the wooded search area. “I understand this appears like we’re onto something, but all we’re doing here’s following on leads. We shouldn’t leave almost anything to chance. Exactly what we obtain which has any type of potential whatsoever, we’re following up.”

When requested by reporters what leads the teams were following on, McManus stated he couldn’t comment.

The region is situated near the household’s apartment complex, based on ABC Dallas affiliate KSAT. The terrain is deep, McManus told reporters.

Hesham Werfelli, part of exactly the same mosque the toddler’s family attends, told KSAT that somebody locally had posted a brand new tip just days ago.

“I shouldn’t say who, but someone reported some advice that around New Year’s Eve,” they stated. “We’d several us here. We had someone walking within the back area having a flash light. It didn’t really click.”

McManus is vowing to carry on the quest for the toddler.

“We haven’t able to escape any resource or quit hope to find Lina,” McManus tweeted .

He noted throughout the press conference that investigators, dive team incorporated, will get their explore Wednesday. Drones are apparently getting used too. His department hasn’t immediately taken care of immediately’s request to learn more.

Khil has brown hair and brown eyes and it was putting on a black jacket, red dress and black footwear when she disappeared. Her mother had walked away for any minute and, when she came back, Lina vanished. However, the toddler never was alone as other children were around the playground when she disappeared. Her parents are cooperating using the analysis.

An incentive of $150,000 has been provided to anybody who provides information which results in Khil’s location.

Anybody with details are advised to call the Dallas Police Department Missing Persons’ Unit at 210-207-7660.
