While talking with Aiken, detectives noted that they spoke of Frazier previously tense, as though he were already dead.
“That would certainly be reason to be concerned and sort of provide a warning sign inside your analysis, when you have your reporting party already talking about your victim previously tense,” former Ellis County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Kevin Ketchum described.
Aiken agreed to some search of her home and vehicles. Investigators found no proof of foul play but noted that they had been eliminating Frazier’s possessions.
“We go upstairs and there’s this big walk-in closet filled with trash bags,” Hopson stated. “… [She stated] ‘Oh, individuals are George’s clothes.’ She stated she couldn’t stand to check out them.”
