A Texas man who made an appearance on the newest season of “American Idol” continues to be charged with burglary within an alleged domestic violence incident involving his ex-girlfriend.
Cecil Ray Baker, 20, was arrested Saturday after allegedly entering his ex-girlfriend’s home on Wednesday and striking her hard, local outlet KXXV reports. The unnamed lady told officials using the Rockdale Police Department that Baker attempted to interrupt into her home utilizing a back entrance after she declined to allow him come inside and find out her child, that they believes he fathered, based on the outlet. Once Baker was inside, the victim said that she frequently told him to depart and he used the heel of his palm to strike her hard.
Upon arriving, police found the victim by having an hurt left oral cavity, based on KXXV. Baker’s sister seemed to be present throughout the altercation and her story largely matched what his ex-girlfriend told police, based on an arrest affidavit acquired by TMZ.
Following Wednesday’s incident, police attempted to locate Baker, but he’d moved to a new town, TMZ reports. He was arrested on Saturday. Police required him into child custody for burglary of habitation and he was launched later on that day after posting $15,000 bond.
Baker, a rustic singer, competed around the current season 19 of “American Idol.” He was eliminated in the competition earlier this year after reaching the very best 24. For this reason victims never come forward bc y’all try so difficult to tear them lower,” she authored within the caption of one video, adding the hashtags “do better” and “be better.” In another video, Lopez shared a photograph of herself and Baker posing together with her daughter, using the words “You really had everybody fooled” written over the top. She then demonstrated clips of Baker performing on “American Idol,” adopted by screenshots of text conversations and pics and vids of injuries.
